The intense expression of Cabernet Sauvignon

Cancello del Sole Cabernet Sauvignon is a refined and expressive red wine, whose grapes, before being harvested, patiently waited until reaching full ripeness. Coming from the land of Pramaggiore, this red Cabernet wine is bottled after two or three months of aging in small oak casks. Only in this way is the Cancello del Sole Cabernet Sauvignon ready to release its typical herbal notes which are balanced with hints of cherry, blackberry and black currant.

A wine to be enjoyed as an aperitif, but also ideal for pairing with red meat, cheese, and cold cuts.

GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon (100%)

HARVEST: Last days of September 2020

ORIGIN: Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

AGING: In oak barrels for maximum 3 months

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12.5% vol.

The ancient winemaking traditions of Pramaggiore

The territory of Pramaggiore is located between Venice and the Dolomites, in the heart of the DOCG area of Lison Classico. Here, ancient winemaking traditions date back to the Roman period, gaining particular renown during the Serenissima Republic. Called “I Vigneti dei Dogi” (Vineyards of the Doges), this area became the cradle of exceptional wine production, appreciated and known all over the world for the “fashionable winemaking of Venice”.

It is in through the union of the composition of the soil and the geographical position, of the fresh mountain air and the salty air of the Adriatic sea, that Podere Roverat cultivates the Cancello del Sole Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards with passion and dedication.
